Orange Soft started out as a localization studio and publisher for Japanese computer games (High Reward, Memories, Power Climb, etc.), until it started work on its first own title, an RPG based on the 1989 animated movie Merturl Dosa, in October 19961. OSC developed a sequel as well, but soon jumped on the kiddie platformer bandwagon, producing a number of well-made but unambitious titles. However, like almost all Korean developers that didn't make the jump to MMO or mobile games, OSC disappeared in the mid-2000s.
