This is the Famicom-exclusive circus level, so I figured I'd go into depth as much as possible here. This is also level featured on the cover art of the Famicom version (not the European one.)
The coolest thing about this screenshot is the Moai head in the moon. Tee hee!
These dolls will jump off their diving boards right into the water, spreading hearts around. This wouldn't be so hard if the screen weren't so cluttered.
The penguins on the roller coasters are annoying. Now for a segue: another annoying aspect is that fact that a majority of the power orbs activate that irritating Roulette, so powering-up is a wee-bit difficult.
Just the image of an octopus in the roller coaster. And yes, you need to squeeze through that area on the top.
This weird contraption just bounds back and forth in a predictable pattern...find a same space to dodge the spikes and lay low. And keep shooting, because you're constantly under attack from annoying birds.
Remember Huey, Dewey and Louie from Disney's Duck Tales? This big robot reminds me of them. He'll just use his remote to send planes and boats and stuff like that after you.
Mmmm...ice cream cones. It's hard to give a definite theme to this level. It's basically just a castle with a bit of a maze inside.
I'm sure if I were to go into a crowded room and shout out loud: "Keep shooting the dots while avoiding the walking pumpkins!" people would give me a strange look and ask me if my temperature was normal. But that's why we love Parodius, da?
This is sorta what I mean by a maze. You have to fly up and down pretty quickly and destroy the barricades, otherwise you can get trapped. Blegh.
The lips, set to the tune of the Can Can, will spit out their fangs to attack. Without strong weapons, this battle can take a llloooonnnngggg time.
