This fic may be serious...hope you like it!! ~YingGirl CastleVania: Senshi For HIRE!!!! Part 3 By: YingGirl. (yinggirl_the_sephiroth_hunter@hotmail.com) Notes: Although I do not owe the rights of CastleVania SoTN I do owe the rights to some characters. All other characters are based and owned by Konami. The story takes place in the modern time. Please enjoy. Prologue 1 Cother continued her endless struggle with her captive. “Let go of me!!!” Cother yelled as she struggled, “Where are you taking me?!!!” The dummy did not respond. It continued holding its grip on Cother. Cother had no choice but to look at her new surroundings. It was old ruins of an alter…or a place of prayer. There were some candles that were lit. Yet what caught Cother eyes was a dark priest. He wore his long robes (which that the markings of celestial writings on the robes’ lining) as he smiled at Cother. It seemed he was pleased of his new visitor. “Cother Mackenzie,” the priest chanted, “your strength and your heart will help us destroy the young Belmont.” “Bastard!!!” Cother replied as she tried to break free, “Why do you want to hurt Vanessa?!! She’s done nothing to you!!!” “She has done greatly. She is the last one…the one who easily got away. Therefore, she must die!!!” “No!!! You’re wrong!!! She can’t die!!!” “Silence mortal!! Soon, you’ll realize that she must die this way because of my master’s suffering.” The priest held out a green orb and threw it at Cother’s direction. Cother’s screams were heard throughout the dark castle. No one could hear her last cries of innocence. Then… The cries stopped. Cother wasn’t the same. Her eyes glowed a shimmer of green as her mind was full of hate and revenge on the one who made her what she was now. Prologue 2 Matt and Pumpkin Jr. ran down the streets of Montreal. It was pitch black, so their search will be much harder than a needle in a haystack. The lights began to shine to lighten the city…yet not the hopes of finding a dear friend. “Vanessa!!!” Pumpkin Jr. cried while tears ran down his face, “Vanessa!!! Please come home!!!” There was no reply. “Vanessa…” Matt said as he began to search the city on his laptop, “we won’t give up of finding you.” Matt continued clicking on the keyboard to set up search commands…and still the results came out as none. “Still no results,” Caramel said as she looked at screen, “even with our latest technological advances…we still can’t find Vanessa. I hope the Chosen One is alright.” “Don’t worry,” Matt replied as he patted Caramel on her head, “we’ll find her. She’s pretty strong. We’ll also find Cother as well, then we can be together as a team again.” “Matt,” Pumpkin Jr. whimpered as he looked towards Matt, “when will we find her.” “Soon,” Matt replied as he closed his laptop, “but there is something right ahead that’s giving out some dark energy in this area.” “I can sense it,” Caramel hissed as she stood on guard, “could it be a new enemy?” The three looked at the direction in which the energy was coming from. The presence was growing stronger as it began to shut off “Should we go?” Pumpkin Jr. asked. “We have no other choice,” Caramel replied as she began to walk, “if this is the works of our new enemy, we must stop it before is starts attacking our home!!!” The trio agreed and all were set onto the streets once more to check out the latest evil. If they were successful, maybe it can give them some answers on what was going on. Or send them to their graves. *** It almost seem like I was asleep for days, I wasn’t. The clock read nine. Perhaps I slept for a good couple of hours. I sat up on the bed I was resting upon. I am still a bit anxious about the fact that I’m the one to defeat the vilest count in history!! I can’t believe it!!! I’ll probably be famous, not like a movie star…but maybe famous to become a legend. I placed my hand on my forehead as I found out my small wound was recovering. Only that I realized that I wasn’t in my own room… “Where am I?” I whispered to myself, “How did I get here?” I quickly jumped out of my bed, knowing that I must have de-transformed in my sleep. I started to head towards the door until a glint of silver caught my eye. I turned around to see what it was. It seems someone has placed some weapons on the counter. I walked towards the counter to see what weapons were there. I stepped back as I notice something; the whip that was lying there was the same whip my father was trying to give me!!!! I slowly advanced towards it, lifting it up to get a close study of it. Even when I was young, this whip always amazed me. When mother wasn’t home, dad will quickly revive the whip from its hiding place and place it in my hands. He would then tell me stories about how past members from my bloodline would use this same exact whip to defeat the dark count. I always love hearing his stories, especially about the ones that featured a half vampire who helped the members from time to time. Of course my dad was always trying to teach me to use the whip, but then mom appeared and as soon as she entered the house, she quickly snatched the whip away. She then kept it hidden once again. She hated the whip so much and she should, whips are not young girls’ toys. I would always wonder why mother wouldn’t let me know more of my true heritage. Does she know what happened to my real parents? Is that why she hates me using that whip? Or was it something far more than my parents? One day when I was around 13 years old, I thought I was old enough to use the whip and not get mother angry. So I carefully watched on where she hidden it without getting caught. As she left on her daily routes, I quickly ran to the place, took out the whip, and ran outside. I wanted to practice my training with the whip without hurting anyone. As I entered a small section of the forest, I began practicing with my whip. For the first tries, I was almost pathetic, but later on I became better and better. The whip crackling in the air almost excited me. I adored hearing that sound. As I came home with a dirty whip, something didn’t feel right. I entered the house and my life was changed forever. I dropped my whip. My dad lied in a puddle of blood as my frantic mom was talking to the officer. She then looked at me, her eyes began to glow red. I didn’t notice that but then I began to realize why my mom didn’t want me to play with the whip…she was a demon in disguise!!!! She dashed towards me and grabbed my throat, hissing and chanting words such as “I will kill you, young Belmont!!!” or “The master will arrive once your bloodline is gone!!!” She dug her nails into my neck and began shaking me repetitively and she was chanting, “Die!! Die!! Die!!!” I threw a kick at her stomach to knock her out. She quickly let go of me as she fell onto the floor. I was holding my neck since it had suffered from deep scratches. Before my mother could try to attack me, the officer unleashed an attack on her and she burst into flames. Funny to see someone who was your mother to be destroyed right in front of your face. I looked at the officer, and then I looked at my fallen dad, then back at the officer. Tears ran down my face as I explained I didn’t mean to cause their deaths and I was sorry. The officer just walked towards me, and wanted to study my wounds. His presence wasn’t bad. It was almost comforting. He then used a vial and placed it on my wounds; it helped to heal the wounds and it wasn’t as painful as placing rubbing alcohol on them. He then looked up at me, almost flashing a smile. “We will meet again young Belmont,” the officer replied as he picked up the whip, “until the time has come. You will be reunited with your destiny.” I looked at the whip once again. So many painful memories I had in life. I wish I never had to go through that again. I began to look at the other weapons, daggers, a blue cross, holy water, a stopwatch, and ashes. Were these the same weapons my ancestors used to fight the dreadful count? They may look primitive, but they hold the strength to take down the count and his minions. I couldn’t wait to tell my friends about this!!! I had to find my way out of here, find my friends, and tell them about it. Maybe with Matt’s inventions, we can all be ready to bring down this count as a team The door right behind me began to open. *** “There it is,” Matt cried out, “the presence of the dark forces.” The two look ahead. All that was in their path was a piece of shrubbery that was growing in the middle of the streets. “A plant?” Pumpkin Jr. pondered as he waved his tail, “A plant is causing this trouble??” Then the plant began to blossom. A white rose grew from the center and opened. It revealed a lovely young female in the center. Her skin was pure as white as her red hair rested on her shoulders. She opened her eyes and smiled at the two young boys. “It’s a TRAP!!!” Caramel yelled out, “Run away before she gets you!!!” But it was too late. The roots of the plants headed towards Matt and Pumpkin Jr., trapping them in a flytrap. “What the?!!!” Matt yelled out, “This isn’t a flower!!! It’s a luscious weed!!!” “Let me go!!!” Pumpkin Jr. cried as he tried to struggle, “I don’t want to be fertilizer for a plant!!!!” The woman smiled as she pulled out two white roses. “Matt!!!” Caramel protested as she dashed around the plant, “Pumpkin Jr.!!! Don’t let those white roses touch you!! If they do…you will be drained of your blood!!!” “No way…” Pumpkin Jr. whimpered as he looked at those roses, “Matt!! We must do something!!! I don’t want to die like this!!!” The roots held tighter on their captives. “I don’t know if we can…” Matt muttered as he felt the pressure of the grip, “We must hope that we’ll get out of it in one piece.” The woman began to throw her roses at the two. There was no hope left for them, if YingGirl was here… Caramel jumped in the direction with her claws ready, only to get stabbed by the two white roses. She slumped onto the ground as a dead carcass. Both Matt and Pumpkin Jr. watched as they saw their furry friend taking her final breaths. “She risked her life to save us,” Matt said as tears ran down his face, “Caramel, we will never forgive you…” Pumpkin Jr. turned to the female plant; his face had the expression of pain and anger. “You evil plant witch!!!” Pumpkin Jr. growled, “Don’t you have any feelings for what you just did?!! You hurt an innocent feline because she tried to protect us!!! You may seem attractive, but you’re noting but a cold heartless demon!!!!” The woman smirked as she began to pull two roses. Both of them were blood red. “I don’t think she doesn’t care,” Matt replied. Just before she could strike again, a voice began to speak. “Matthew Brodwick,” the voice chanted, “Your wisdom and your heart will help us finds ways of killing the young Belmont!!!” “The Young Belmont?” Matt asked, “I will never aid in ridding the Belmont!!!” “Pumpkin Jr. Your courage and your heart will help us gaining our revenge on the young Belmont!!!” “You must be crazy!!” Pumpkin Jr. yelled, “I will never help you destroy the young Belmont!!!” A dark figure loomed over them. It was an ancient priest who stood right before them. He was holding green orbs as he looked at the two. “It’s a shame,” the dark priest commented, “one of your friends has already seen that the Belmont is evil.” “WHAT?!!!” Pumpkin Jr. and Matt cried out in unison. “Don’t worry. You will be reunited with her. My dark lord will be pleased of your services.” He then released the green orbs, each entering Matt and Pumpkin Jr. Their screams were heard in the town, yet no one responded to them. Both Matt and Pumpkin Jr. had suffered the same fate their former friend had. Not only did the green orb have an affect on them, yet it also transformed them into something out of someone’s worst nightmare. The priest smiled as he looked at his two loyal servants. The plant released the two. Both of their eyes were glowing green as the thoughts of betrayal, anger, and pain danced in their heads. Matt and Pumpkin Jr. were about to settle their revenge on the one who forced them to become monsters… The Young Belmont. *** The door right behind me began to open. I turned around as I gripped onto my whip. I was confused if I should fight the intruder or wait till he or she made their first strike. I kept my patience as I awaited the door to open. It was my host; he was waiting silently at the doorway. “You freaked me out sir!!!” I cried out as I held tighter on my whip, “I almost thought you were some bad guy!!!” “So,” Alucard replied with a sly smirk, “you’re recollecting some of your abilities.” “You know, you could have just knocked sir.” “Now if I did, you would never know when to attack when real danger presents itself.” “Are you sure you’re not trying to kill me, sir?” “I am certain. Please, take a rest young Belmont. Even thou it’s a weekend, we have lots to do.” “Aw man, you sound like my French Teacher.” “The darkness already had taken over your home. If we don’t travel to the source, the new world will be plagued by the God of Chaos.” “The Darkness?” “Yes. Ever since I entered this city, the presence of the dark seemed to have been growing stronger.” “That can’t be!! Caramel told me we’ve defeated the forces of darkness, such as Lord Falosio, Lord Demitri, and Golbrez, the Dark Titan.” “We?” “My friends. Matthew, Pumpkin Jr., and Cother. We may seem like a bunch of teenagers, but we have the strength in ourselves to stop what dark forces bring into this world.” “You must have some strong allies.” “I bet you had some friends too that took care of you. You would do anything to help them in any way you can, and they would do the same for you.” He then stood right in front of me, looking towards me with a face of confusion. He recalled helping the Belmonts and he always backed away when the some of them tried to be close to him. Never had one Belmont tried to act like there were befriending him. He always stood as a common outsider, looking back on the world behind him. “Friends??” Alucard asked, “Mortals help mortals in ways that they would give their life to let another life?” “Yes,” I replied with a smile, “I will give anything, even my own life. Don’t worry, even if you become wrapped in darkness, I’ll be there to pull you out.” “You are too young to say such things. Perhaps you’ll clear your mind out of these thoughts once we’re head towards the castle tomorrow. Please get some rest.” He started to walk away, as he closed the door behind him. I kind of felt sorry for him. Even thou I have only met him, I feel so sorry for him. It must be sad waiting all those years to wait for another Belmont. What did he do in those years? I wish I could have been there to comfort him… Yet he still gives out recognition that he wishes to be alone…why? *** The castle stood in the presence of the night. Bats flew around the castle as they cover the nightly sky. The lights that appeared in the castle looked like the eyes of a demon. Soon the battle which only occurs in once and every hundred years will begin. The Darkness was growing stronger as the night turned pitch black. The fate of mankind lies in the one, the one who is destined to fight the count of eternal darkness… “I’m waiting young Belmont,” a voice whispered in the wind, “I’m waiting for you…” Cother, Matt, and Pumpkin Jr., watched the castle from the cliff. All three were smiling as their eyes glowed the essence of green. “Soon,” the voice echoed on the cliff, “soon young Belmont…you will feel the pain that you have cause me!!!” The trio watched the castle as it shimmer in the light of a full moon. Nothing will stop the darkness from taking over this world. Even villagers cried in agony as they were being attacked by their own worst nightmare. Where was the legendary hunter who was sent to protect the innocence? Where was the family who can stop this insanity? Matt looked down and started to laugh, he was enjoying himself as he watched the village being destroyed. Soon mankind was going to suffer the same fate as well. When will the legendary hunter appear? Only the hands of fate will tell when the destined one will appear to end this horrible curse… *** Adrian sat next to his desk. Of course hiding the fact that he isn’t human and trying to live a life of a collage student wasn’t easy. Even more problems would come since he had a girl at his house!!!! Who would ever thought the next Belmont was going to be a young girl? But all his tasks had to be done; his major one was just about to begin. He completely forgot to train the young Belmont!!! How will she fight the vicious monsters, and most importantly…his own father? He could picture his father ripping the young mortal to pieces, making sure he paved the throne-room with blood. She was so young; she couldn’t have the power to defeat him. He glanced at the monitor. Amazing on how mortals develop such devices. He had to get in touch with the common equipment during this time, or others will be suspicious of his whereabouts. As he entered on the information super highway, he noticed something from an old friend. It seems Adrian wasn’t the only one who had changed his methods. He placed the cursor on the document as he began to read it. Young Master Alucard, I am thankful that this machine known as a computer can get in contact with you much faster. Anyway I have more important matters to discus than to praise the era of technological advances. The Dark Priest known as Shaft have captured three young mortals and forced them to serve him, perhaps they are the Belmont’s friends. Even worse, Dracula has brought out two allies who wish to help him. One of them is a pestering imp while the other is a young maiden assassin. Be warned, she may look innocent, but she holds an evil heart. You must be careful, young master. By the way, who is the next Belmont? I hope I can see him and aid him in any chance. Although, it may seem useless since Belmonts can only use their own weapons. Maybe I can interest him in buying a castle map. (It was worth a shot.) The castle has greatly changed, yet most of it is still the same. Please take care young master and young Belmont. He is the only one left. If he dies…then this world will fall into an endless nightmare. The familiars are eagerly waiting for your return. We may meet again. Come soon, the Count is angered that the Belmont hasn’t shown up so he decided to send his monsters attacking a village of innocents. Sincerely, The Master Librarian. P.S.: This will cost you 150$ Please send it via money order or pay when you visit me. ^-^ Some things would never change as Adrian read his email. But he had to show up, with the young Belmont as well. Will she be ready? Without any training, how will she fight? Then he realized the Belmont had another identity…YingGirl!!!! Perhaps this could lead a start of a new legend of vampire hunters… TO BE CONTINUED. _________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com.
