Heya there...hope you enjoy this second part of my starring CV fic. Enjoy... ~YingGirl CastleVania: Senshi For HIRE!!!! Part 2 By: YingGirl. (yinggirl_the_sephiroth_hunter@hotmail.com) Notes: Although I do not owe the rights of CastleVania SoTN I do owe the rights to some characters. All other characters are based and owned by Konami. The story takes place in the modern time. Please enjoy. Prologue 1 “Tell me,” the ghastly grim reaper questioned the two, “tell me everything about this YingGirl. Who is she?” “Who…” Xia shyly asked as she looked at the phantom figure, “who are you?” Xia knew that no one else knew about this private base located at the Old Part. This was her sanctuary against those vile policemen and that pesky soldier who takes down crime. She did not like the visitor to enter on her quarters…he even smelled like death!!!! “Please fair maiden,” the grim reaper chanted as he bowed towards them, “don’t take me wrong. We are on the same side.” “The same side?” Akiral asked as well, “How can that be?” “We both want to get rid of someone…and I think the reason you two have been denied to take over this island is that YingGirl is from a different blood.” “Different blood?” “My master wants to challenge this YingGirl you speak of. Perhaps she is the one; the last vampire hunter of the Belmont’s bloodline.” There was an eerie silence. Somehow, all of the small crimes Xia and Akiral did start to make actual sense. They knew that a mere mortal could never take them down, but YingGirl…she exceeded like any mortal can. She knew how to deal with the demonic puppets Akiral always send out or break some weak magical spell Xia tries to place on the city. Xia had to break this silence. It was starting to freak her out. “Wait, wait…” Xia replied in a clever smirk, “are you telling us that YingGirl is a Belmont? One of the most powerful vampire hunters known to man? If she is a Belmont, than that would mean you are…” “I am the Arch-Angel of Death,” the grim reaper said as he revealed his face, “I am just a mere servant to my eternal master…Count Vlad Tepes Dracul.” “Holy crap!!!” Akiral cried out, “You’re Death?!! I’ve should have seen it sooner!!! I’m so sorry I questioned about you! Really, I truly am!!!” “I am not here to rid you two from this realm, but I am to ask you two to aid my vengeful master. He shall reward you greatly if you bring the Belmont back to his domain. He will grant you all the power you need to bring the Belmont. Shall I set you on this task…or should I look for others willing to join?” “Count me in!!! I always dreamed of working for the Vampire King!!! What about you, Xia??” “If it mean I can get back at that pesky YingGirl…” Xia said as she looked towards Death, “then count me in.” Prologue 2 The fine afternoon outside was a perfect place for youngsters going off in their play. The air was sweet and fresh for a young cat like creature to play…vampire games?!! “What a fine girl!!!” Pumpkin Jr. roared with laughter as he stood next to Jessica, “How the blood of a beautiful woman will quench my body!” “Miss!!!” Jessica cried out, “Pumpkin Jr. is doing his vampire impersonation again!!!” “Pumpkin Jr.,” the teacher cried out as she yanked him by his fur, “even thou you aren’t human, I would like it that you will stop pestering the young girls!!!” “AH!!” Pumpkin Jr. cried out as he tried to struggled out of the teacher’s grasp, “Defeated by the blood of Belmont. This could be fate...” “The minute your sister or one of her friends come over here to pick you up, I will give them a…” “Yo!!” Matt cried out as he stood at the gates, “Pumpkin Jr., sometimes I wonder about you.” “Matt!!!” Pumpkin Jr. yowled out as he quickly jumped out of the teacher’s grasp and dashed towards Matt, “Matt!! I’m so glad to see you!!” “And so am I,” the teacher replied, “Now I can take care of the other children without any vampire problems.” “Don’t worry, Pumpkin Jr. always acts too much into a game he’s playing. He’s really nice once you get to know him.” “He’s a pest outdoors, yet he’s well behaved in the classroom. Take care Pumpkin Jr.” “Of course,” Pumpkin Jr. grinned towards the teacher, “see ya tomorrow.” The teacher just ran off screaming. Both Matt and Pumpkin Jr. looked stunned. Of course Matt turned to Pumpkin Jr. to see why the teacher was screaming…a red like substance was on Pumpkin Jr.’s fanged teeth. “You painted your teeth with food paint,” Matt sighed as he touched Pumpkin Jr.’s fangs, “this is the third time this month.” “Well look on the bright side,” Pumpkin Jr. chuckled, “at least the teacher won’t be willing to give us homework for a week.” “You know what this means Pumpkin Jr.?” “What?” “I’m banning you from playing Vanessa’s vampire like games on her Play-Station for a week.” “NOOOOOOOO!!!!” The afternoon was a peaceful paradise. It wasn’t too hot or too cold as I was walking from building to building. Strange, even thou it’s around a quarter after five, it seems that the cape of night have once appeared. Night always arrives earlier when you live in the Northern Hemisphere. Perhaps this city is destined to be cloaked in darkness. I continued my walk along the pathway, passing by the cemetery. Out of all the schools, never have I been to one that next to a cemetery on campus. I stared at the gloomy tombstones, wondering who were those people and how did they die? “Vanessa…” a silent whisper cried out. “Who?” I asked to myself as I quickly stop in my tracks, “Who calls my name?” “You are the Belmont child…raised by a Lecarde, but you take your middle name to hide the truth.” “How do you know that?!! Who are you?! Show yourself if you wish to battle.” “But I am just a mere voice. How can you fight that Belmont?” “You have the wrong person.” “I do not. Your blood has the Belmont blood coursing in your veins. The master will be greatly pleased about me bringing you to him.” “Your master?” The voice revealed itself…a sword being held by a figure that was unseen. The sword had the symbol of a human skull on its handle. For some strange reason, I have seen it before. “So you are the next Belmont in line?” Azaghal mocked with glee, “You seem awfully pathetic. This will be an easy battle to win.” “Pathetic?!!” I yelled out as I gripped onto my broach with the words forming into my mouth, “You must start soaking your head! Powers of light surging into my veins…please grant me the powers I ask for. Help me vanquish this evil that threatens mankind!!!!” The broach released a shimmer of light. It was shinning brightly as it touched my regular clothing and transforming it into a legendary soldier’s fuku. This was a gift given to me by a small friend who believed in me. “Nice trick you’ve performed Belmont,” Azaghal said looking down at me, “but will it aid you to defeated me?” “I do not know who you master is,” I cried out as I stand in my position like a super hero would, “but I will not come to him!!! Agent of Light and Hope…I am YingGirl!! Champion of Justice!!!” “Your holy powers must have grown strong enough to take this form!!! Too bad it will be your last, young Belmont!!!” The hidden swordsman dashed towards me, swinging his sword left and right. I quickly dodged his attacks. He was a well swordsman…but how can I fight something I could not see? I can only see his sword and it wasn’t a big help at all. “Ha!” Azaghal laughed, “Young Belmont, you cannot fight something that you cannot see. Give up, you cannot win against me.” He continued his sword swinging. I jumped towards the right as I saw a tree fallen right besides me. I stumbled onto the ground. I felt my head was wet…it wasn’t. It was bleeding from my constant avoiding of his blade. “I…I…” I muttered to myself as I was trying to get up, “can’t give in…” “Your powers are strong,” Azaghal cried, “but your form is weak…you have lost the abilities of your ancestors. Now die.” He charged his final attacked. He was right. I was helpless going to die like a weak mortal on the school campus. The fate of the Belmonts was almost going to come to an end, thanks to yours truly. I couldn’t do anything except lie there and let this invisible swordsman kill me! “SOUL STEAL!!!!!” a yell cried out towards the swordsman. Within an instant, the demonic swordsman screamed in pain as his invisible body burst to bits and pieces. His sword dropped to the ground, only to dissolve, as it never existed. I was breathing heavily as I sat up, looking at my surrounds. My head was throbbing in pain as I looked towards whoever voice chanted that spell. A young gentleman looked towards me. Oh my gosh!!!! Is that Adrian from that little incident? He looked much older. He was wearing an eveningwear from the 18th century, dressed in black as he carried a long-sword at his side. But his features…they look exactly like Adrian’s!!! Almost, his skin was much whiter. Who was this man? “So I have found you,” the gentleman said, “I should have expected it was you. Your scent of your blood is proof enough that you are a descendent of the Belmont. You have the same features of Richter.” “Found me?” I asked as I looked up towards the gentleman, “Have I been lost?” “You have lost some training, but that can be arranged. Not to mention you are hurt.” He started to walk towards me. I had a quick reflex to crawl back. And I should!!! Pale skin, old clothing, powerful spells, and knowing the scent of my blood…he was an undead vampire!!! A vampire!!! But why did he rescue me? I didn’t notice that he was already kneeling beside me, studying the flesh wound imprinted on the side of my face. “You did well,” the gentleman replied as he studied my wound, “you could have suffered much more because you haven’t been training.” “You’re going to kill me?” I squeaked out since my pulse tighten my throat, “You’re going to drain me of my blood and turn me into a vampire…” “Don’t start Belmont. You would been already dead right now if I did.” “Why do you call me Belmont? Even thou I’m a descendent, that isn’t my name.” “Then…what is your name?” “It’s V…YingGirl.” “YingGirl? Have we met before?” “No sir!!!” “Very well then. Your wound should heal a couple in days or so. Perhaps if I should invite you to my quarters. It would be a safer place than here.” “Uh…alright sir.” “So you need any help to get up?” “Nah. I’m fine sir!!” I quickly stand up, blushing slightly. I hope calling him “sir” was a good thing to do. Strange. I know this guy…but where?? “You’re very energetic,” the young gentleman chuckled as he stood up as well, “I shall explain who or what I am when we’re there. It’s best we leave before another servant appears.” “If you say so sir.” *** “Curse him!!!” the vampire king roared from his throne, “Curse him!! Curse that retched Belmont!!!” The count was furious, he could sense the power of the young Belmont. It was growing stronger… A priest entered the room quietly. He bowed towards the count as a servant. “Lord Dracul,” Shaft muttered, “the Belmont is weak. Perhaps if we kidnapped the Belmont’s close friends, we may still get the Belmont to come here.” “How can such strength be hidden in a woman’s beauty?” the count questioned as he turned to the dark priest, “Perhaps if the Belmont shows me a good fight…I may grant it a fight for all eternity!!!” “Yes. Belmonts can be very easily under our control. With a Belmont as a vampire, he can be used against other vampires, such as your son.” “And nothing will stop me. Shaft; go on with your devious plans. The sooner the Belmont appears…the sooner this world will be cloaked in my eternal darkness.” “I shall praise that day when it appears, my master.” *** Matt and Pumpkin Jr. were walking down the street. It wouldn’t take them long to head towards their home, even thou it was the last house on this street. “Pumpkin Jr.,” Matt questioned as he looked down towards his cat friend, “what do you see in these games?” “I think they’re portals to another world,” Pumpkin Jr. cried, “plus the game play is groovy!!” “I’ll never understand the young.” “Would it be cool if YingGirl went up against Count Dracula? Count Dracula is a powerful being…but he’s nothing compared to YingGirl’s Giga Flare!!! And I’ll be right next to her to see it.” “How will you know that YingGirl will be able to defeat the undead count?” “Because YingGirl is a person that will never give up. Even if the Count pressures her to join the dark legion…she will never join. She has gone through many dangers throughout her life, but since she loves this place, she won’t let it fall into dark hands.” “You’re right. But you have also forgotten one thing.” “What’s that?” “YingGirl has friends like us on her side that will aid her at any costs.” “That’s right!! We’ll help YingGirl in ways we can help her!! She saves us from evil forces…and we’ll save her from falling into evil.” The two continued their walk. A stray cat leaped out of the shadows and quickly pounced on Matt. “GYAH!!!” Matt yelled. “Matt!!!” Pumpkin Jr. cried as he turned to see what was the matter. “I’m terrible sorry about my rude entrance Matt,” Caramel said as she nuzzled around Matt’s neck, “but this is of great importance!!” “Well whatever it is,” Matt chuckled as he patted Caramel’s head, “I bet YingGirl will figure out a way.” “That’s the point. Vanessa hasn’t returned home yet.” “So? She must be at the labs working on her sites or chatting with some online friend.” “I thought so too…until I did a quick check and she wasn’t in any of the collage labs!!!” “Vanessa wouldn’t run off like that,” Pumpkin Jr. spoke as he looked back at Matt, “I know she wouldn’t.” “Then,” Matt continued, “someone must had kidnap her.” “Exactly!!!” Caramel cried towards the two, “Luckily I sent Cother on a mission to go look for her!! You two best go into the city and find her before harm is done on her!!” “I will never let anyone hurt Vanessa.” So the two ran off. They left their destination to seek out a friend. Will they find her before the darkness swallows her? Only the hands of fate will know. *** “So let me get this straight…” I pondered as I was sitting in a comfortable chair, “I’m the last descendant of the Belmont clan who only fights Dracula once in a hundred years. My relatives, the Lecardes were also vampire hunters as well, henceforth I was raised by one of them…and now you’re telling me Dracula has resurrected from his slumber to attack this world and I’m it’s last hope, sir?” “That is correct,” the gentleman replied as he takes a drink from his teacup, “I didn’t expected it was you when we first met in the hallways, but when you bleed…the scent was exactly the same as one of your descendants. I wouldn’t be surprised if you’re baffled about this occurring so soon.” “Nah. I think it sounds pretty cool. When do I meet this guy, sir?” “Not now…you still need to train since you have seem to lost your ability to fight.” “Hey!! It’s not my fault that big sword guy was invisible!!! If he was visible…he would have been sorry trying to mess with me sir.” “Even if I do manage to get you in training…” the gentleman sighed as he placed his cup on the table, “you still won’t be ready to face against my father.” “Your father, sir?!!!” I cried out as I jumped out from my chair, “But if Dracula is your father, that would make you a….” “A half breed. A damphire. A dumpeal. Even thou it sickens me that I’m his heir to the throne, he is my father and I can’t change that.” “Whoa…you’re just like D. Don’t tell me, you’ve got a talking left hand too sir??” The gentleman quickly raised his hand to cover his mouth as he softly laughed. I wonder what was so funny. “Fraid not my dear charming friend,” the gentleman chuckled, “I have the same attributes as a common vampire as do I have as a human.” “Oh,” I replied feeling stunned, “it’s not my fault that some people think as dumpeals like that. By the way, since you know my name, it would be nice if I knew yours sir.” “It would be better than you calling me “sir” all the time. The name is Alucard.” There it was!!! The same feeling I felt when Adrian bumped into me. Could Adrian and this Alucard guy is one in the same? At least there is a similarity between this guy and myself; we both live secret lives that no one else knew. I definitely knew this name because it was a name of a game character from my video games. It wasn’t freaking me like it did, but it did make my cheeks flushed a shade of red. I didn’t notice that my host, the young gentleman, was studying my face. “Now I remember where I’ve met you,” Alucard suggested, “you’re that same girl with the glasses I’ve bumped into early this afternoon!!!” I don’t know what he said or why he said it but when I heard those words…I just quickly collapsed onto the chair. *** “Vanessa!!!” Cother yelled at the streets, “Vanessa!! This isn’t funny for you to wander off on your own!!!” She continued her yelling to hear a respond from anyone as she ran down the streets. The streets were cloaked in the essence of the night. It wasn’t a good time for anyone to get lost. And still there wasn’t any reply. “Damn,” Cother muttered to herself, “it’s like this town gone dead all of a sudden. I wonder if Vanessa is alright.” “She will be alright,” a voice cried from the darkness, “for she will be destroyed by your assistance to the master.” “Assistance to the master? You’ve been on a drinking route, my friend!!! I will never assist your master!!!” “Very well then.” Cother stood on her ground; she knew something was going to happen. The presence of evil was growing ever so strong. Something in the air wasn’t in favour for the turnout to be good. Hands out of nowhere appeared right behind Cother and snatched her neck. With a few grunts and turns, Cother realized she was being held captive…by a live dummy. “Blimmey!!!” Cother screamed as she struggled, “What witchcraft is this?!!” “You will become a perfect bait to lure your friend,” the voice laughed, “for your friend is the one we need!!!” “Damn you!!! Whoever you are…you will pay dearly!!!” The voice continued its laughter as the dummy held its grip tightly on Cother. Then, within a puff of smoke, the two disappeared into the darkness of the night.
