~~~~~~ Sweet Revenge ~~~~~~ Chapter 1: Abduction The year is 1858. The place is what is known to man as "Transylvania." Peace and prosperity has been something the people of Wallachia have loved and become accustomed to. Nothing can possibly go wrong now, right? Wrong. The scene picks up in a large house. Its 12 midnight and everyone in the town are sleeping. On the bed lie Reinhardt and Rosa. Husband and wife. Both immune to the outside world. Reinhardt suddenly starts to swing his head left to right in slow manner as though he's having a nightmare. Indeed a nightmare is occurring and eating away Reinhardt's brain. Inside that very nightmare, Reinhardt hears the tune of a familiar instrument being played. The tune appears to be a violin. It grows louder and louder, racing across Reinhardt's brain. He's trying and trying, but the music just wont stop. Reinhardt utters a loud and harsh scream as he climb's out of bed. He ride's his hand across his head and the sweat thwarts out. That disturbing tune is finally out of his mind. Reinhardt then nod's his head as Rosa is still sleeping even after that screech. He goes back to lying down hoping nothing will happen again. After five minutes of heavy thoughts he decides that he can't sleep. Reinhardt climb's out of his bed with distraught written all over his face and open's the curtains to take a look outside. He looks at the moon and then looks at the streets. The road is filled with clearness. Not a soul around. Reinhardt begins to think about the past and his battle with the evil Dracula. He puts his head down for a minute, then looks back out. Knowing the night isn't going to pass away like this, he goes back to bed. In another part of town Carrie Fernandaz, another warrior who had risked her life battling the devil, had the same experience. The same dream, at the same time of night and the same kind of tune. Only she was on a carriage coming home after a late night show. She woke up from the nightmare flinching a bit. An old guy was riding the carriage questioned "What's the matter, something happen?" "Oh no, just had a bad nightmare." Carrie responded. "What was it about?" The old man spoke with an eye of suspicion. "I don't remember." Carrie lied. She actually didn't want other people to know her business. Very private person was Carrie Fernandaz. When she had problems at a very young age, she would never seek for any help from her mother or father. But what she heard in her dreams was something all to familiar. It signaled the future to be filled with evil again. Carrie did not know whether she was over reacting or if it was true. Whatever it was though, she was sure she didn't like it. She took out her book and started doing her homework. Even though Carrie tried concentrating on her homework, her brain was playing the same tune the violin played in her nightmare. After 15 minutes of finishing only a paragraph she realized she couldn't concentrate and put it away. Nice timing because her station had arrived and Carrie grabbed her backpack and left the carriage. 12 o' clock midnight. Carrie started walking home. Something made her look at the moon. Some inner feeling as it seems. She satisfied that inner feeling and looked up at the moon, as it was shining silver. Carrie sighed and trailed home. In a farther part of town, another warrior Cornell who previously had the power to become wholly a wolf, had lost track of Ada who was running in a forest, as to play games with him. The forest was full of trees. Barely giving space to walk, much less run. Cornell was playfully calling her name, as Ada was laughing while running. At last Cornell was out of breath, and unable to find his soul mate. Cornell started walking around the forest calling her name out. "Ada, you won and I lost, Come out now. Ada where are you?" At this point a bit of frustrations had been caught on to Cornell." I am getting over patient now Ada, the games are over." All Cornell could hear is the wind. Suddenly it started to rain as Cornell began to get worried. Where could his love possibly go? He began racing across the forest to find Ada, but to no avail. Then Cornell saw something on the ground. It was a letter. What could it say? Cornell quickly picked it up. He read it as it said, "Cornell, by the time your reading this your little girlfriend must have already been abducted. Don't bother looking because there will be no avail to your search, mere mortal. You no longer posses the power of a wolf Cornell. You didn't think this was going to end this way did you? You thought you killed me.....Your best friend. But the fact is Cornell that I am as alive as ever. I have come to seek revenge. Sweet revenge. This time I will obtain it. As for your love of life Ada, She will become the next sacrifice to bring the almighty Dracula to life. This time you wont have time to save her Cornell because the ritual will be under progress in a few days. Knowing you, you ll probably try to save her, But this time I have come prepared. Well, prepared. Big plans are made for you Cornell. Oh and don't worry, Because they will succeed. See you.........In hell." Ortega. Cornell's rage couldn't contain him. His face had become red with hatred and he couldn't believe his old friend had abducted Ada. Cornell was also shocked of the fact that Ortega was still alive. Cornell let out a cry "AAAAAADDDDAAAA." Cornell had to go through the same journey for the same reason as he did before. This time it would be harder though as Cornell had lost his wolf power. But he still had his skill........ Chapter 2: Invasion One day later of the abduction, Reinhardt was practicing his whip on a number of thing's. He had become a great hunter in his own right. It was 6:30 and Reinhardt decided to go for a walk. He usually liked places with very few people on the road. It was his daily routine. The sidewalk had shops to the right as Reinhardt was checking them out. There were food, clothes, and other kind of shops that contained those products. Reinhardt was walking, when something had caught the corner of his sharp eyes. In a dark place, much like an alley, some living Skeletons were beating on a man! In total there were 3 of them. The skeletons were using their own bones as a primary weapon. The guy they were beating on seemed minutes away to losing his life. Glasses were broken, looking like they were shattered over the mans cranium. The skeletons were actually yelling. Upon seeing this, Reinhardt quickly made his move sneaking up on the undead, He quickly cracked his whip as the skeletons turned around. Reinhardt slashed one with the whip, while kicking the other into the wall. Both were obliterated in seconds. The third tried swinging a bone at Reinhardt, quickly seeing that, he dodged the bone, tripped the skeleton with his leg and laid the finishing touches with a smack by the whip. The Skeletons head came crunching off but was still fighting. Reinhardt then cracked his whip and hit the skeleton once more. It still moved. Reinhardt then sealed its fate with a quick swipe to the abdomen with his sharp sword. All three skeletons were on the ground lifeless as they should have been. Reinhardt looked down at the helpless person. It wasn't to late. Reinhardt picked the person up and was headed to the hospital. A woman who had passed by watched all this in horror and fainted. After 3 long hours Rosa had started to worry about Reinhardt's well being. He was never late. Much less 3 hours? No call came. After a few minutes of patience Reinhardt had arrived. Rosa began asking those annoying questions any wife would to a husband, if he's come 3 hours late of the time he was supposed to be present. "Where were you all this time?" Rosa began. "Bad news has arrived Rosa. I couldn't believe what I saw. The bad spirits have arrived once again" Reinhardt gave a sigh. "What are you saying?" Rosa asked in disbelief. "Its the truth. I just saved this human from a vicious beating at the hands of skeletons. I am afraid the thing I dreaded the most is bound to happen. Rosa. Oh my dear Rosa." "You are not saying that Dracula Vlad Tepes will be back. Are you?" Rosa insinuated. She already knew what Reinhardt's answer was going to be. "I do not know. But what I do know is that whatever is happening, is for a reason." Reinhardt finally ended. Carrie is walking home as she always comes home late. Its become a style for her. She coming home late night after her job. The job of mastering her physical attributes in a private place. She walked right up to her doorsteps, and put the key in. Before she entered she made sure the lights were off from the inside. Carrie would always leave the light off to make sure no one was there to harm her. She finally stepped into her beautiful house. She put her backpack down and sighed. Carrie proceeded to jump onto her sofa after a hard day's work. She then laid her head back and started to rest. Carrie was proud of herself. As she was watching she heard the sound of a glass breaking. Carrie flipped out of herself! She started to walk to the kitchen, then she stopped......Suspecting it was a trap by some burglar she started to concentrate and a green orb started forming in her hand. It had powers of that unknown. She started to walk into the kitchen. Carrie quickly glanced in the kitchen and ready to fire the green powered orb. To her surprise no one was there. She started walking into the core of the kitchen, when she saw a shadow on the floor. It was from the ceiling, Quickly Carrie looked up and it was a small green hunchback! She tried to throw her orb right into it but it was to fast, it leaped onto Carrie taking her down. Carrie slowly got up as the hunchback's face was filled with intensity and hatred, it lunged forward Carrie with its sharp claws like that of a bear but Carrie released the energy of the orb right into the green monster. It fell like a sack of potatoes and start rolling around in pain. Carrie then said "Time to go back to hell," As she took of her rings and sliced the hunchback from left to right. SCHOOK WOOK WUTCH. The sounds vibrated. Once she was done, there it lied with black blood spilled all over the floor and Carrie's shirt. She started speaking to herself, saying "What's the hunchback of noter dam doing here? Spoiled my dress." In front of her eyes the green hunchback disappeared but the blood remained. Cornell had brought all items to do battle with in his possession. This time Dracula and his minions have done it, he thought. Not only did Cornell want Ada to not be sacrificed but he also did not want Dracula to be resurrected. Unfortunately Dracula and his minions had other plans. For what was bound to happen was going to ruin his whole life. Chapter 3: Unearthly Sacrifice Just a day after Cornell read that letter. There stood Death, along with Ortega and Elizabeth Bartley. Each surrounded with candle lights. Take a look at Ortega and you will know he's a changed man. A completely changed "thing" in fact. Elizabeth was looking as gloomy as ever. Her eyes looked that of a wild beast. And Death. Well, Death looked like death. The mere sight of this thing was enough to put every fear of life into a person. A nicely built table was set a few feet near a brown binged coffin. A red cloth was rolled over it and the book named "Necronomicon" was laying. The book of the dead. The place had walls with pictures of the dead around. It surrounded the area and a red carpet rolled right up to the 3 steps, upon which the coffin lay in a platform. On the coffin was Ada. Unconscious. It seemed as Ortega had been lying when he said that "the ritual will begin in a few days." Because the ritual was already beginning now. Death began pronouncing words and came up to Ada who was lying there helpless. "Let this new body give a soul to the sleeping devil in the coffin." Just as about the scythe Death was holding was about to come down on Ada's neck. The door slapped open and out of nowhere a gunman appeared. Rather a "knight in shining armor." He had a gun in hand and was well prepared. This brave individuals name is Henry. A boy that Cornell had saved from the evil spirits in the castle once. Henry grew up to become a knight and served purpose to a church. He once entered Count Dracula's haunted castle and rescued 7 children. And now he was face to face with the personification of evil. "Let her go, brutes!" Henry demanded as he walked forward with courage and no fear whatsoever. "You will not hurt that girl!" "Which fool dares to upset the ritual time?" Death said throwing the scythe into his other skeletal hand. Inside those eye holes of death grew a slight fire. "I m Henry. One of the few that could have died in Dracula's castle had it not been for Cornell. He saved my life, and now I have come to save his damsel in distress." "HAHAHA! Is that right?" Ortega spoke. With hate running through his eyes. "Cornell isn't half of what he was young fool. Since your the one he saved, I will seek great pleasure in ripping your heart out and sending it back to Cornell as to prove what he will become!" Ortega was burning in rage and jealousy. Not once had he beat Cornell. But here came his other friend Henry wanting to ruin Ortega's plan of facing Cornell one last time. With that Ortega rushed forward as his face began to change into a lion. He lunged forward with mighty speed. Speed that Henry did not expect. Ortega plummeted onto Henry taking him down. Ortega tried slashing him with his hands which had become claws, but Henry through Ortega off. Both of them stood up, Henry sparked a bullet into Ortegas shoulder. Ortega writhed in pain but kept coming trying to slash Henry. Henry back jumped and quickly shot another bullet into Ortegas ribs. That didn't hurt Ortega as much as anger him. Ortega then did a flip and landed behind Henry, the minute Henry turned around, Ortega slapped the gun recklessly away from his hand and slashed the armor on his body. Had the armor not been there Henry might have been as good as dead. Henry then had something in his hand, it appeared to be a knife. In one swift moment Henry threw his knife right at Ortega's face. Ortega quickly caught the knife right before it hit his face. Henry was surprised and trying to catch his breath. Henry then took out a sharp sword and sliced Ortega's injured shoulder. Elizabeth and Death had seen enough. Henry tried swinging again but Ortega grabbed the sword with his mere hands and kicked it out of harms way. Ortega then took Henry and threw him 5 feet away. Ortega smelled prey. He quickly took his bow and 3 arrows, and before Henry knew it both his legs were plagued with bows. Crawling Henry tried grabbing his gun, but Ortega had crushed it by eating it. Then in an act of cold heartiness Ortega leaped upon Henry and started clawing him. In under 2 minutes Henry was a mess. Henry was still moving. That soon became irrelevant when Ortega stomped the life out of the young warrior. Henry soon became unconscious. "Who in the devils name is the fool?" said Bartley "The ritual must be done as quickly as possible!" Bartley flared and showed her huge fangs. "Oh cherish these days!!We've acquired another sacrifice. Count Dracula will have power. Power that is uncanny" Death exclaimed "I must thank you Ortega. Pick this foolish human and place him on the coffin of the end of the world at once!" "No, I did this for personal benefit." Ortega screamed in his lion-type voice. He then took his tongue and rubbed it across his mouth. Cold hearted to say the very least. "Let the ritual proceed" all said at once. With that Ortega took Henry's prone body, picked it up and put it on the coffin. They all took their places as both Henry and Ada were side by side. Death began reading and saying words from the book. As Death proceeded with the ceremony, evil spirits were gathered up from the power of the book. Then Death flew right up to the coffin. He took his scythe put it in the air, said words, and brought the scythe down on both of their necks. The aftermath was unbelievable. Both Ada and Henry's heads were separated from their bodies. And their bodies sank into the coffin and disappeared. Unbelievable. Two people Cornell had saved once were both finished in rather seconds. A black day in Transylvania. Death grinned ."The ritual is a success. In minutes our master will be here. We welcome you Dracula Vlad Tepes. We welcome you back home.........." Silence was in the air. Then, the coffin started making sounds. Electricity was running all over it. The top was rumbling and the whole place was shaking. As the coffin's top was rumbling you could see a certain bright light. Then the top spat off as the white light had finally released. Mist was wavering around here and there in the coffin and finally everything was back to normal. Elizabeth said "He's not there. What's happening? Well, someone tell me what's happening?!?!?!" Death laughed "HAHAHA. The pain and suffering as begun my vampiric friend! Dracula has already started reeking havoc on Transylvania. He is somewhere out there now." Meanwhile Reinhardt Schneider was again having nightmares at the same time. The violins music had become so much so unbearable. This time though, in a not so clear white light. Reinhardt could see a figure. The boy it appeared had blue hair along with blue eyes. He was holding a violin in his hand. He was wearing something that of the 19 century. It was a garb. He closed his eyes and began playing. After the tune was over the boy opened his eyes and said "Reinhardt, I'm afraid that your worst nightmare is back. Resurrection has occurred, my little vampire hunter. The blood red moon is shining. And this time, I will not fail. I will wrap the world around my finger and crush all to will. I am back......I am back.....oh yes, dare I say... I am BACK!!!!!" with that, the little boy's eyes turned blood red and he began playing his violin again as he faded into the white light. Reinhardt woke up drenched in sweat once again. The nightmare had not been a coincidence. He quickly got up and opened his curtains, to his horror the moon had changed its color. It was red from every side. The color of blood. Reinhardt was wondering how this all happened in such short time. What he saw in his dream was indeed Malus, a.k.a. Dracula. Reinhardt was indeed in shock. He looked down from the moon and heard a werewolf cry. He looked out on the streets thinking what he should do. Reinhardt new what he would ultimately do, but he was delaying it. For reasons unknown to him. Rosa had just gotten up and he did not know it. She put a hand on his shoulder and asked "Are you all right?" Rosa looked outside and quickly understood Reinhardt's silence. The moon had attracted her attention. At first she had had flinched, then sighed. "Oh no. He's back" she whispered. "I don't know what to do" Reinhardt said. "I have to go" he finally decided. "Its my duty." "Well, go if you must, but promise me you will be back." "If I can help it Rosa, I will be back." Reinhardt was a bit surprised at Rosa's sudden decision to let him go. Probably because she doesn't want other people suffering what she suffered in the past. Before Rosa could start packing his stuff he said "Rosa.....You don't want me to go do you." Rosa sighed and said "No Reinhardt but peoples lives are at stake. I've experienced what its like. You have to fight. You have inherited the blood of the Belmont's. Now you have to live up to the expectations and rid the world of Dracula." Reinhardt nodded his head as he spoke "Your right. I should be leaving by morning. The fate of the world is in my hands." Carrie had the same dream. Exact time and exact dream. Couldn't have been coincidental Carrie understands that the call of the world is asking for help. She must provide it for them. The Fernandaz warrior took it upon herself to pick up the phone. She dialed a number. The phone rang on the other part. Reinhardt picked up. "Its time again." Carrie said. "I know. I truthfully know." Reinhardt countered with a startled voice. He was surprised Carrie even called him after all this time. "Its not even been a hundred years. This isn't going to happen. We cant let it." "Well, Carrie it already has happened. I have been having bad dreams about.....Malus." Reinhardt said, awaiting Carries response "What? You read my mind! Carrie squealed with astonishment. "How is this possible?" "This I think is all part of Dracula's plan. I don't know how he's come back. But what I do know, is someone is going to have to stop him. And that someone is me." Reinhardt finally let out. "I am in this with ya". Carrie finished.
