Known as Akumajou Dracula XX in Japan and Castlevania: Vampire's Kiss in
Europe, very little was changed. The only thing altered with Richter's
death - instead of turning red, he turns white (he still doesn't distinigrate
like he does in the PC Engine Drac X.)

Also, the title screens are different.
In the American version, the Castlevania logo starts out big, shrinks down,
then the words "Dracula" appear in red lettering. A "X" is "slashed" out
as the red bleeds out of the "Dracula" logo. In the Japanese version, the
two Xs are stamped onto the screen, then the logo appears next to it.
In Vampire's Kiss, the title screen simply appears without any special effects.
