(Note: Since the ending is entirely spoken in Japanese, these translations
come from the cinema translation by Yo Kosiman.)
Richter's Ending
Dracula: Defeated by the blood of Belmont. This could be fate...
Richter: Die! This world is no place for you to live in!
Dracula: I am not resurrected through my own power. I am resurrected through
human desires. For power, they steal. And power becomes the only justice.
Richter: That's just your wishful thinking! People seek, pray, hope at the
same church! Never must they meet evil!
Dracula: That's the reason I am here. Do you not have any desires?
You humans develop according to desire, and come to me
after losing faith. Can you really call me evil?
Richter: But humans can't steal for power. If there is something precious,
honored or loved they can steal. Evil will eventually perish!
Dracula: I see. Maybe so. As long as there are greedy humans, I will return.
Just remember that. It was quite enjoyable.
Descendant of Belmont, we'll meet again! HA HA HA HA HA!!!
(Dracula's spirit leaves the castle. Richter views the castle from the
distance which, amazingly, does not fall down. If you got less than 100%,
you see Richter riding on his horse while the credits role. If you
get 100% completed, it's sunset and the faces of all the people you rescued
flash by. Also, Richter is on a stagecoach instead of a lone horse.)
Maria's Ending
Dracula: Defeated by the blood of Belmont.
This could be fate...
Maria: It's because you were bad and mean to everyone!
Dracula: I am not resurrected through my own power.
I am resurrected through human desires.
For power, they steal. And power becomes the only justice.
Maria: I don't know about that. You say some harsh stuff.
But bad things are bad things!!!
Dracula: That's the reason I am here. Do you not have any desires?
You humans develop according to desire, and come to me
after loosing faith.
Can you really call me evil?
I see. Maybe so.
As long as there are greedy humans, I will return.
Just remember that.
It was quite enjoyable.
Descendant of Belmont, we'll meet again!
HA HA HA HA HA!!
Maria: What's so funny?!
Let's get out of here quickly, everyone!!!
(After Dracula escapes, Maria and her friends escape from the crumbling
castle. They look on in the distance as the castle falls. Then the credits
roll while Maria waks by on a sunny day, with pictures of her animal friends
flashing by.)
